Beef En Brochette

MARINADE:
½ cup red wine
1 tsp each Worcestershire sauce and sugar
1 Tbs vinegar
2 Tbs ketchup
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp each marjoram and rosemary
 
1 pound beef tenderloin, cut in cubes
16 large fresh mushrooms
2 green bell peppers
2 onions
2 tomatoes
 
Mix the marinade in a large plastic food-storage bag.  Cut the meat and vegetables into chunks suitable for skewering.  Marinate in the bag for 2 to 3 hours.  Skewer the meat and vegetables and broil until the meat is at the doneness you prefer.  Serve with rice.  Serves 4.
